A Delphi Study to Validate the Patient-Centered Doctor’s Competency Framework in Korea

Defining a competent doctor is important for educating and training doctors. However, competency frameworks have rarely been validated during the process of their development in Korea. The purpose this study was to validate patient-centered doctor’s framework, which had developed by our expert working group (EWG). Two rounds Delphi questionnaire surveys were conducted among panel experts on medicine medical education. members provided with six core competencies, 17 sub-competencies, 53 enabling asked rate importance these competencies 5-point Likert scale. Between April July 2021, total 28 completed both rounds. data analyzed mean, standard deviation, median, inter-rater agreement (IRA), content validity ratio (CVR). A CVR >0.36 IRA ≥0.75 deemed indicate agreement. This found that five not valid, reached three sub-competencies two competencies.
